The Elements rooftop tent has quickly established itself as a popular companion for off-road and camping adventures. Building on the success of the first model, we have further developed it through targeted improvements and practical additions – the result is the Elements Gen II. What has improved?

We developed the Stone in gray with a black roof for overlanders who enjoy spending time in the mountains or other rocky terrain. The Ocean comes in a modern navy blue with a matching brown roof. Designed for adventurers who enjoy staying near the coast and sleeping in their roof tent with the sound of the ocean.
Suitable for every roof rack & vehicle model
The new Elements roof tent is, of course, compatible with all roof racks and vehicles. Whether it's a roof rack platform or two crossbars, it doesn't matter. You just need to observe the vehicle manufacturer's permissible roof load.
Perfectly protected from rain
For the tent fabric, we use a 300g/m² canvas consisting of 35% cotton and 65% polyester. The tent has a 2000 mm water column rating, and the brown fly sheet boasts a 3000 mm water column rating—so you're well protected from rain.
Modern black telescopic ladder
For convenient opening and closing of the roof tent. The length can be adjusted as needed, allowing for optimal climbing in and out.
Observe the starry sky with Sky View roof window
The integrated Sky View roof windows give you a perfect view of the starry sky. Both roof windows can also be completely darkened in seconds.
LED lighting in the interior
Ambience in the roof tent: The LED lights are integrated into the interior of the roof tent and can be conveniently operated via a dimmable switch and switched between three different colors.
Including mosquito nets, side pockets & shoe bag
The entrance, side windows, and two roof windows are equipped with mosquito nets and can also be completely closed. Additionally, the interior of the roof tent features 12 side pockets for ample storage space. A practical shoe bag (two for the 220 cm roof tent) is also included to prevent dirt from entering the roof tent.
Optimised mattress & breathable underlay
Included in the delivery is our optimised 8 cm cold foam / memory foam mattress (2-piece for a 220 cm rooftop tent), which ensures maximum sleeping comfort – almost like in your own bed. Also included is a breathable Anti-Sweat 3D mesh mattress underlay, which effectively prevents moisture build-up and ensures a pleasant sleeping climate.
Awning optionally available
The awning for the Elements roof tent in Stone is also available. Attaching it to the roof tent is quick and easy using the zipper system, and the awning creates additional space.

Ich habe mir das Dachzelt Elements Gen II mit Vorzelt bestellt. Als ich das Zelt verbaut hate muss ich sagen ich bin super zufrieden damit, die Verarbeitung ist top und die Qualität ist zu sehen, leider hatte ich einen defekt an meinem Zelt jedoch wurde mir hier zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit ausgeholfen. Ich kann dieses Zelt von Horntools NUR empfehlen bin sehr zufrieden damit. Vielen Dank und gerne wieder. LG

Echt ein super Teil. Waren uns mit der Farbe nicht ganz sicher. Aber es sieht spitze aus. Vor allem mit dem gelb abgesetzten. Unterschätzt den Zeitaufwand für das erste befestigen nicht. Manches könnte in der Anweisung noch genauer beschrieben sein, aber man kämpft sich durch. Für die erste Nacht hat die Zeit leider noch nicht gereicht. Aber die kommt bald. Tolles Produkt.
Gross, geräumig, Matratze super. Gute Verarbeitung
Das Elements 165 macht auf dem Dach des RAMs einen super ersten Eindruck. Nach einem kurzen Test ließ es sich in wenigen Minuten aufstellen. Auch die Montage war erfreulich unkompliziert. Jetzt sind wir gespannt, wie sich die erste Nacht mit Skyview darin anfühlt!
Das Dachzelt bietet alles nach dem ich gesucht habe:
- Panoramafenster
- Öffnungen an allen Seiten
- stabile Leiter mit überdachten Eingang
- Schuhtasche
- LED-Licht
- Wasserdicht (zumindest nach dem ersten Regen)
- ausreichend hohe Matratze
Am wichtigsten war mir eine dicke Außenhülle, damit man innen ausreichend Sichtschutz/Privatsphäre hat und wenig Lichteinfall um lange zu schlafen. Das ist gegeben.
Alles ist sauber und hochwertig verarbeitet und beim Service bekommt man schnell Hilfe bei Fragen.
Das Dachzelt mit 165cm haben wir auf einem Mini und funktioniert somit auch bei Kleinwagen.
Das Dachzelt( Elements 165) hat direkt die ersten Tage den Härtetest (Großglockner mit Hitze,Starkregen und Gewitter) durchgemacht und wir sind extrem begeistert von dem Zelt. Es gibt das ein oder andere noch zu verbessern was eher an unserer Unerfahrenheit und dem Umgang mit dem Zelt zu tun hat. Selbst als unerfahrener Benutzer kann man das Zelt problemlos auf und abbauen. Es erklärt sich Vieles von selbst. Klare Kaufempfehlung!
Ich habe das Zelt nach der Abenteuer & Allrad gekauft. Bisher bin ich super zufrieden. Die Fenster im Dach sowie das Licht sind super praktisch und trotzdem ist es morgens dunkel im Zelt, sodass man ungestört schlafen kann. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig und der Kontakt mit horntools war sehr nett. Kann ich nur empfehlen.
Super Zelt. Haben es bereits 10 Tage benutzt. Auch bei vielem Regen blieb es dicht. Die Teleskopleitern sind auch besser da die nicht so quietschen wie die Aluleitern. Zusätlich kann man die zum auf und abbauen nutzen um besser dran zu kommen.Einzige Schwachpunkte sind die Laschen von den Reißverschlüssen die sind ziemlich schnell ab und beim 220er könnten mehr als 4 Befestigungssets dabei sein.

La tente s’adapte parfaitement à notre van VW. La facilité d’utilisation, le matelas confortable et les petits détails pratiques comme les poches et le sac à chaussures en font un compagnon idéal pour les week-ends. Même par vent fort, elle reste bien stable.
Nous avions déjà le modèle précédent – la version Gen II est améliorée à plusieurs niveaux. La nouvelle housse est plus pratique, la structure plus solide. Même la protection contre la pluie semble bien plus efficace. Une recommandation claire pour tous ceux qui aiment être dehors et apprécient la qualité.

On which car does the Elements roof tent fit?
The Elements roof tent fits on any car with a sufficient roof load. This is usually any small car. All you need is a suitable roof rack to which you can attach the roof tent. You can find roof racks at horntools, but the roof tent is also compatible with other roof rack brands.
How heavy is the Elements roof tent?
Weight 140 cm version: 66.5 kg (excluding ladder)

What accessories do I need for the roof tent?
All accessories are included with us. You can start right away! We also offer an optional annex room for the Elements roof tent. This creates additional space and gives you a place to retreat to when it's windy or raining.
Is the tent storm-proof and waterproof?
Absolutely! You can use the Elements roof tent even in heavy rain without any worries. Thanks to its stable construction, the tent can also withstand strong winds.
How many people is the Elements roof tent suitable for?
This depends on the size. We offer the Elements roof tent in sizes 140, 165 and 22 0cm wide. The length of the lying surface is always approx. 230 cm.
Two adults can sleep in the 140 roof tent without any problems. 165 cm offers enough space for 2 adults and a child. At 220 cm you have two ladders and a partition. So you have two rooms with separate entrances and enough space for up to 4 people.
Which mattress is in the Elements?
The Elements Gen II features a high-quality cold foam / memory foam mattress with a thickness of 8 cm. This gives you a comfortable sleeping experience for both small and larger people. The mattress always stays in the roof tent. We have installed a 3D mesh under the mattress to ensure ventilation and prevent mould growth.
Roof tent mounting on the roof rack
All of our roof tents are simply screwed onto the roof rack cross braces using screws and counter plates. The screws are inserted into the rails provided on the roof tent floor. All fastening material and tools are always included in the delivery.
