Description
Protector & heat protection
horntools ropes are characterized by their high-strength fibers. In contrast to steel ropes, horn rope ropes have a much lower weight. If a steel cable breaks, it will jump open with full force, which cannot happen with a horntools cable. This means that the horntools rope is not only lighter, but also much safer.
The only difference is that the synthetic rope is subject to more wear than the steel rope, as the rope can wear out if it is pulled over an edge, for example. We therefore recommend attaching the protector and heat protection to the drum from the first rope winding, as the motor and brake of the winch cause higher temperatures during operation may occur. In the last rope layer, we recommend the Protector & Heat Protection as protection against UV radiation.
