The horntools roof tent Elements combines many years of experience in the roof tent sector and offers you everything you need on an overlanding and camping adventure. The combination of comfort, design and some exciting features makes the roof tent Elements unique.

Available in Ocean or Stone

The Ocean comes in modern navy blue and a matching brown roof. Developed for adventurers who like to stay near the coast and sleep in a roof tent with the sound of the sea. We developed the Stone in grey with a black roof for overlanders who like to stay in the mountains or other rocky areas.

Suitable for every roof rack & vehicle model

The new Elements roof tent is of course compatible with all roof racks and vehicles. It doesn't matter whether it is a roof rack platform or two crossbar supports. You just have to pay attention to the permissible roof load of the vehicle manufacturer.

Protected from rain

For the tent fabric we use a 300g/m² canvas, consisting of 35% cotton and 65% polyester. The tent has a 2000 mm water column and the brown fly sheet even has a 3000 mm water column - so you are well protected from rain.

Modern black telescopic ladder

The new telescopic ladder allows you to easily open and close the roof tent. Its length can be adjusted as required and allows you to climb up and down easily.

Observe the starry sky with Sky View roof window

The integrated Sky View roof windows give you a perfect view of the starry sky. Both roof windows can of course be completely darkened in a matter of seconds.

LED lighting in the interior

Ambience in the roof tent: The LED lights are integrated into the interior of the roof tent and can be conveniently operated using a dimmable switch and switched back and forth between three different colors.

Includes mosquito nets, side pockets & shoe bag

The entrance, the side windows and the two roof windows are equipped with mosquito nets and can alternatively be closed completely. In addition, the interior of the roof tent has 12 side pockets for sufficient storage space. A practical shoe bag (two for the 220 cm roof tent) is also included in the delivery so that no dirt gets into the roof tent.

With 8 cm cold foam mattress

Included in delivery is our comfortable 8 cm cold foam mattress, which ensures perfect sleeping comfort.

Annex room optionally available

The annex room for the roof tent Elements in the colour Ocean is also available. Attaching it to the roof tent is quick and easy using the zip system and the awning creates additional space. It can also be used as a changing room, for example.

220 roof tent suitable for families with 4 people

The Elements roof tent with a width of 220 cm is particularly suitable as a roof tent for 4 people and therefore families. This version comes with two separate ladders and a partition wall. The car roof tent is divided into two separate rooms and thus offers an ideal distribution for 4 people. The partition wall is attached using Velcro and can also be removed if necessary. The length of the lying area is always approx. 230 cm.

On which car does the Elements roof tent fit?

The Elements roof tent fits on any car with a sufficient roof load. This is usually any small car. All you need is a suitable roof rack to which you can attach the roof tent. You can find roof racks at horntools, but the roof tent is also compatible with other roof rack brands.

Absolutely! You can use the Elements roof tent even in heavy rain without any worries. Thanks to its stable construction, the tent can also withstand strong winds.

How many people is the Elements roof tent suitable for?

This depends on the size. We offer the Elements roof tent in sizes 140, 165 and 22 0cm wide. The length of the lying surface is always approx. 230 cm.

Two adults can sleep in the 140 roof tent without any problems. 165 cm offers enough space for 2 adults and a child. At 220 cm you have two ladders and a partition. So you have two rooms with separate entrances and enough space for up to 4 people.

Roof tent mounting on the roof rack

All of our roof tents are simply screwed onto the roof rack cross braces using screws and counter plates. The screws are inserted into the rails provided on the roof tent floor. All fastening material and tools are always included in the delivery.

Volle Begeisterung und totale Zufriedenheit

Das Dachzelt bietet alles nach dem ich gesucht habe:
- Panoramafenster
- Öffnungen an allen Seiten
- stabile Leiter mit überdachten Eingang
- Schuhtasche
- LED-Licht
- Wasserdicht (zumindest nach dem ersten Regen)
- ausreichend hohe Matratze

Am wichtigsten war mir eine dicke Außenhülle, damit man innen ausreichend Sichtschutz/Privatsphäre hat und wenig Lichteinfall um lange zu schlafen. Das ist gegeben.

Alles ist sauber und hochwertig verarbeitet und beim Service bekommt man schnell Hilfe bei Fragen.

Das Dachzelt mit 165cm haben wir auf einem Mini und funktioniert somit auch bei Kleinwagen.

besser als Vickywood

Das Dachzelt( Elements 165) hat direkt die ersten Tage den Härtetest (Großglockner mit Hitze,Starkregen und Gewitter) durchgemacht und wir sind extrem begeistert von dem Zelt. Es gibt das ein oder andere noch zu verbessern was eher an unserer Unerfahrenheit und dem Umgang mit dem Zelt zu tun hat. Selbst als unerfahrener Benutzer kann man das Zelt problemlos auf und abbauen. Es erklärt sich Vieles von selbst. Klare Kaufempfehlung!

Cooles Zelt

Ich habe das Zelt nach der Abenteuer & Allrad gekauft. Bisher bin ich super zufrieden. Die Fenster im Dach sowie das Licht sind super praktisch und trotzdem ist es morgens dunkel im Zelt, sodass man ungestört schlafen kann. Die Verarbeitung ist hochwertig und der Kontakt mit horntools war sehr nett. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Tolles Zelt

Super Zelt. Haben es bereits 10 Tage benutzt. Auch bei vielem Regen blieb es dicht. Die Teleskopleitern sind auch besser da die nicht so quietschen wie die Aluleitern. Zusätlich kann man die zum auf und abbauen nutzen um besser dran zu kommen.Einzige Schwachpunkte sind die Laschen von den Reißverschlüssen die sind ziemlich schnell ab und beim 220er könnten mehr als 4 Befestigungssets dabei sein.

Top Klappzelt

Wir haben uns nach mehreren Tagen recherchieren für das blaue Elements in 140cm entschieden. Hauptsächlich auf grund der Marke und den neuen Features. Gleich im März bestellt und bereits fünf nächte darin verbracht. Muss sagen.. TOP Verarbeitung und super komfortabel. Die Leiter ist sehr praktisch und das zelt wirklich in wenigen Minuten aufgebaut. Wir freuen uns auf den Frühling, könnens kaum erwarten bald nach Spanien zu fahren!!
